Recently, in September Damon Albarn, frontman of Gorillaz, broke the news of a collaboration. It turns out that Bad Bunny and Gorillaz are working together. It will be a new song for the band, which caused controversy among fans of the group.
After the big news everything calmed down and nothing more was known, until now. The band from the United Kingdom announced the songs that will be included in their next album, called Cracker Island; the eighth in their career.
Cracker Island
Gorillaz shared, in the middle of the promotion of their new single ‘New Gold’ with Tame Impala and Bootie Brown, that in February 2023 they will release Cracker Island, of which they presented the front and back covers.
According to what was revealed by the group, their eighth studio album will have 10 songs, six of which are collaborations with artists such as Adeleye Omotayo and Bad Bunny.
Gorillaz shared the list with the title of their songs, so it was confirmed that the name of the song with which the group worked with the Conejo which is called ‘Storm’.
It is still unknown if that song could be one of the singles of the album or if it will only be included in it; but we are excited to see both of them with very different styles creating art for everyone.
