BTS’ Golden Maknae is one of the biggest names on Instagram right now, all due to being one of the seven members of the biggest groups in the music industry worldwide.
Jungkook is known to be very expressive and outgoing, since his manager team let him open his own Instagram account (which is not very common to happen in the KPOP industry), he has already shown a lot of his personal and daily life, with a funny tone to his posts.
So why is his Instagram account a trending topic on Twitter once again?
His original username in the app used to be “abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz”, but now it’s changed to “Jungkook.97”, being that the year he was born.
This change has made a lot of the artist’s fans go to twitter to express their feelings, saying they’ll miss the original username that was the whole alphabet minus the J and K, the initials for his name. Here are some of those tweets:

wow. not so sound dramatic but, i used to think that jungkook's alphabet username would be the last thing to ever change. like, literally

no one gets it. jungkook's alphabet username was pure genius, revolutionary, got famous brands and everyone talk about it. jungkook earned the nickname 'alphabet guy' because of it, he was so proud of it and no one could've come up with that, except him

At best, it’s a marketing strategy to make the artist grow in followers, since it would be way easier to write down “Jungkook” than the whole alphabet, but many fans didn’t like the change since now it’s a boring nothing special name.
Did you like the second or the first name better?
