It’s quite common to lose our material things, the type of things that we’ll find later in the couch, or below the bed, or a shelf.
But how many of us ever ship their jewelry to another continent…
by mistake? J-hope from BTS has.
Last weekend, the suits BTS wore during the performance of “Dynamite” at the 2021 Grammy Awards will be sold in an auction, the MusiCares’ Charity Relief Auction, hosted in Beverly Hills.
This foundation was started by the Academy to aid musician in need.
Described as “A support of health and human services” to the music industry, its purpose is to help musicians with addiction and mental health.
MusiCares predicts that BTS can be priced for up to $50.000 American dollars, but it’s always possible that the bid might go higher than that.
For instance, the final bid for BTS’s pastel-colored tuxedos from the music video of the same song were sold for 2.
Martin J. Nolan, the CEO of the auction, was presenting the suits, alongside with a rather funny but pricy discovery.
“We found three rings in the suits while we were cataloging this particular lot, and they will also be sold, all to benefit MusiCares.
”
The rings he is referring to are not other than J-Hope’s rings that he wore during the 2021 Grammy Awards performance. The pricing for those might go up to .000 American dollars.
The initial theory is that he took them off after the performance ended and put them in the suit’s pockets, then he forgot about them, and they got shipped overseas inside the suits.
