The movie “House Of Gucci”, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Lady Gaga, has continued to stir since it debuted in theaters around the world. Now, the Gucci family, portrayed in the film, has decided to officially speak out and they are not at all happy with the production, describing it as an “inaccurate portrait” of what actually happened.
In an official statement, the Gucci family said they were a little disconcerted by the production of the film and the fact that they did not consult, at any time, the family of the Italian brand to talk about the characters in the plot, which for them, were described as ignorant and insensitive to the world around them.
“The film’s production didn’t bother to consult the heirs before describing Aldo Gucci, company president for 30 years (played by Al Pacino in the film), and members of the Gucci family as thieves, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them.
This is extremely painful from a human point of view and an insult to the legacy the brand is built on today.
