As Lisa continues to reap the rewards of her successful solo career, alongside her work with BLACKPINK, fans of the South Korean quartet eagerly await information about the girls’ return. And about that, the group’s label already has a statement.
After many rumors of an imminent release of BLACKPINK, YG Entertainment revealed that there are no forecasts for the group’s new songs yet. YG Entertainment had to go public to deny rumors of the release of the song “Ready For Love”, a track known by BLACKPINK fans for appearing in the documentary “Light The World”, on Netflix.
Despite the buzz caused on social media, the rumors are not true and YG Entertainment said in a statement published by the South Korean website Naver:
“It is true that BLACKPINK’s new project is being prepared, but the release date has not yet been decided. The content circulating on social media is not an official YG Entertainment poster, so we hope fans don’t get confused”.
YG Entertainment responded to “Ready for Love’s”unofficial teasers around social media…
“It is true that BLACKPINK's new project is being prepared, but the time has not been decided yet.”
