King Charles III is still the talk of the town for diverse reasons, including his latest public appearance at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Mayfair, London on December 17. The king celebrated the resilience of Christian communities over the years.
The Monarch of the United Kingdom’s attendance marked the 10th anniversary of the Islamic State group invasion of Mosul and the Nineveh Plains in northern Iraq. During the service, the King met with representatives of the London-based Iraqi Christian diaspora.
The national director of ACN UK, Caroline Hull, praised King Charles III for his compassion for the Iraqi Christian because of his attendance during his tight year-end schedule. ACN has supported rebuilding efforts in Christian towns helping thousands of families return home.
“The king’s constant concern has been a huge source of encouragement for us at ACN.”
