BLACKPINK’s Rosé is living her best life after dropping her debut solo album, “rosie,” on December 6, 2024. The album, with bops like “Toxic Till the End” and “Number One Girl,” has fans intrigued—and not just with her music. Rosé’s revealing interviews about a past relationship that inspired her songs have fans guessing. Many are scrambling to figure out who the mystery ex is. The latest target of fan theories? Skateboarding instructor Jason Choi.

Choi unintentionally added fuel to the fire when he posted a rose on his Instagram story, which fans interpreted as a cryptic clue. Mix that with Rosé’s skateboarding phase and some now-deleted Instagram interactions, and the rumor mill went crazy. Some even linked her heartbreak-themed song and video, “Toxic Till the End,” to be about Choi. However, he decided to clarify via Instagram that he’s not Rosé’s ex but remains a fan of her work.

Besides the drama, Rosé celebrated her album launch with a private listening party for 80 lucky fans, who got an exclusive preview of the 12-song record. As of now “rosie” has become one of the biggest albums this year.
