BLACKPINK ‘s Rosé created a new phenomenon with her smash song, “APT” with Bruno Mars. The song skyrocketed Rosé’s career not only in the United States but the United Kingdom after she achieved an important milestone in the country.
The UK’s Official Singles Chart, which is labeled as the Billboard of the United Kingdom, was more than excited to share the good news. For the week of November 21 to 27, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT” stayed strong at No. 3 in the chart.
“APT” has stood strong in its fifth consecutive week on the Official Singles Chart, the song first debuted at No. 4 and rose to No. 2 before charting for three consecutive weeks at No. 3. “APT” became the first song by a Kpop soloist ever to spend its first five weeks in the top 10 of the prestigious chart.
On top of that, the single also currently holds the record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female Kpop artist on the chart, including groups. This is a major milestone for the idol, and there’s no better way to celebrate than watching the “APT” music video once more.
