Disney’s spinoff series, Dream Productions, lands on Disney+ this December, promising a hilarious deep dive into the dream-making chaos behind Inside Out. The upcoming show is giving a strong Hollywood satire, but instead of red carpets, we’re talking about the personnel in charge of helping Riley process memories while she sleeps.
With Paula Pell voicing dream director Paula Persimmon, battling the pressure of her past blockbuster dreams, and Richard Ayoade, the arrogant daydream director who wants to make it big, this miniseries is ready to dazzle. Add the genius of Mike Jones as writer-director and Jaclyn Simon’s production magic, and voilá! we have a recipe for dreamland drama. Meanwhile, the soundtrack will be released on December 20, courtesy of Nami Melumad.
