Going solo isn’t all glitz and glam, and BTS’ Jin is spilling that tea! While promoting his solo debut mini-album “Happy,” Jin admitted he misses the goofy chaos of his bandmates, especially his playful moments with Jungkook. Speaking in a new interview, released on November 19, 2024, the idol opened up about these feelings:
“If there’s Jungkook, I can play fight with him, just bother him for the sake of it. That’s what I’m used to. But now, I don’t have my members and there’s staffs only.”

Jin confessed that working solo can feel a bit lonely. Without his BTS crew around, even bothering Jungkook—his favorite pastime—isn’t the same with just staff in the room. Still, he managed to give fans an amazing mini-album that showcases his solo charm! In “Happy,” you’ll get to see Jin experimenting with pop-rock, heartfelt melodies, and a sprinkle of sentimentalism.
Meanwhile, only Jin and J-Hope have completed their military service so far, with the rest of the group members (Suga, RM, Jungkook, V, and Jimin) expected to be discharged by June 2025.
