King Charles III is continuing with a tight agenda by making a solo appearance at the “Gladiator II” Royal Film Performance in London on November 13. The King had the opportunity to share with a star-studded room, including Denzel Washington.
The two had such a funny interaction when they first met, that Washington appeared slightly unsure of the proper greeting towards King Charles III. The actor asked the King “I didn’t know if I was supposed to grab you or not, but it’s my pleasure,” before shaking hands with him.
After, Denzel Washington briefly described his character in “Gladiator II” by joking about it: “I’m… just awful. I’m a lovely man, you’ll see. I’m a lovely chap and doing my best.” After a short conversation, the King also praised Washington’s career and showed all of his charisma:
“You’ve been in so many films, it’s fantastic.”
