King Charles III and Prince Harry’s alleged long-standing feud might be causing a serious level of legal jeopardy. The royal followers and royal experts are fearing the worst could happen in the years to come.
The royal author of “Charles III: New King, New Court,” Robert Hardman told the Daily Beast that one of the possible reasons why the King might be at risk of legal issues relies on any interaction with the Duke of Sussex.
“Here you have the infelicitous situation where the king’s son is suing the king’s ministers in the king’s courts. That is pulling the king in three directions. You also have the situation where the king’s son published accounts of private conversations, some of which have been, shall we say, wrong. So imagine the situation if the prince were to talk to his father about his court case and then later describe that conversation —or, worse, a conversation that was not entirely accurate. There would be serious legal jeopardyHarry would only have to say, ‘My father said this’ and a court case could collapse.”
At the end of the day, it also might be the main reason why King Charles III could have avoided meeting Prince Harry during the last couple of months. Although they were together in February 2024 after the King’s cancer diagnosis, the pair haven’t met each other due to the Royal Family’s fear of Prince Harry disclosing anything to the British press.
