BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars met critical acclaim and success with their catchy collaboration, “APT.” The song became a global phenomenon and the United Kingdom wasn’t the exception to the rule.
On October 25, the Official Charts of the United Kingdom was pleased to announce that “APT,” had debuted at No. 4 on its Official Singles Charts. Besides the unprecedented success the song has had, Rosé broke one of the most important Kpop records in the chart.
Rosé’s new entry has set a new record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female Kpop artist on the Official Singles Charts, including girl groups. She even topped herself after her solo debut track, “On The Ground” entered the chart at No. 43, which also made her the first female Kpop soloist to land on the chart back then.
There’s no doubt that BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT,” will continue smashing the charts worldwide. What a wonderful way for Rosé to start the weekend. You can watch the “APT” music video below to celebrate this important achievement.
