Jessi is considered one of the most rebellious idols ever in the Kpop industry for being reckless when it comes to addressing a controversy. Once again, the idol has proven to be not afraid of calling out her detractors.
Over the years, the idol has become well known for speaking her mind, even if she criticizes fellow artists in the entertainment industry. During an Instagram livestream, she wanted to make clear one of her thoughts on the hate she received during the early years of her career and business.
“See, it’s like all these male artists trying to hate. They’re like, ‘Oh, I’m hip-hop, I’m hip-hop’ like because [they] give me a finger. Bitch, I’ll give you one back, I’m not scared…I’m not scared, like, since when was I, when was I like an innocent girl, like, I never said I was innocent…”
The idol made emphasis on stating she was highly criticized just for being a female rapper in an industry dominated by male rappers. She ended her comments by confessing that this kind of behavior from these male artists was just lame.
