King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment have worried the royal followers during the last couple of months because of the rumors surrounding his health status. Ultimately, Buckingham Palace already started to prepare everything for his funeral, which makes it even more terrifying for everyone.
On top of that, King Charles III will skip the COP29 climate change summit from November 11-22. The King is well known for being a climate activist and makes it completely strange because he has only skipped the event once since it began in 1995.
A close source to the British Monarchy revealed to The Mirror that the King hadn’t been requested in the event by the UK’s government, despite his ambassadorial role and symbol as the head of state.
“The King will not be going to COP. He has not been asked by the government to attend the event. And he is also mindful of his commitments following the upcoming autumn tour. A decision was taken for His Majesty not to attend the conference this year.”
