BTS’ j-hope is one of the most beloved members of the boyband because of his charisma and skills. However, the idol received harsh criticism from his fans, better known as ARMY after taking a picture with Pharrell Williams.
The idol who is expected to be discharged from mandatory military service next month, shared a couple of selfies on his official Instagram account. The selfies featured the producer and fashion designer, Pharrell Williams, which brought commotion and mixed reactions from the fans.
ARMY explained that j-hope and Pharrell William’s alleged upcoming collaboration is not related to music but to Louis Vuitton. The American artist is the artistic director for the men’s line and j-hope is a global brand ambassador. However, the critics didn’t seem to stop.
On top of that, ARMY is outraged because the idol shouldn’t be associated with Pharrell Williams because of the artist’s ties to Zionism, which is a delicate matter criticized by thousands of people around the world.
