This Sunday at his Balmoral estate, King Charles III commemorates the anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96 right on the property and who is now being honored in a religious service.
The monarch was seen attending with his wife, Queen Camilla, to Crate Kirk, where the event was held in honor of Elizabeth II. This place is a small church adjacent to the residence at Balmoral Castle, which frequently visited the mother of the current king.
It was a private service with few present, where Queen Elizabeth, who held the title of Queen of England for 70 long years and died on September 8th, 2022, was commemorated, and following that unfortunate event, her eldest son, Charles, ascended the throne, becoming king at the age of 73.
Like his mother, Elizabeth II, King Charles III has proven to be a religious man. That is why, just on the anniversary of the death of the late monarch, he has decided to pay tribute to her in Crate Kirk, a church that both frequented together when they visited the residence in Balmoral.
