The “Cool For The Summer” interpreter posted online that she is mourning because of the death of her dear grandfather.
The artist, who was celebrating her boyfriend’s Max Ehrich 29th birthday a week ago, revealed that her grandfather passed away after several years of health problems and to make things worse, the family couldn’t have a funeral due to the Coronavirus restrictions.
The sad news came from Demi this Wednesday when she let us know via her social networks “I woke up to the news that my grandfather Perry had passed away earlier this morning”.
The 27-year-old said that her grandfather had been ill for a long time and that she is relieved that he no longer feels pain.
However, she added: “It still hurts to think that our family will not be able to say goodbye with a proper funeral for a time. But that is the reality during this pandemic” Referring to the forced distancing measures.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer posted photos of her grandfather for the 86.3 million poeple following her on Instagram, adding captions such as: “This man loved God strongly and was one of the best preachers I have had the honor of witnessing spreading the word of God.”
The publication concluded with a moving message: “I love you Grandfather. I’m sorry I didn’t take more photos together, but I have so many memories to make me smile until we meet again someday.
Rest easy. I love you”.
