King Charles III has repeatedly drawn attention to himself for throwing temper tantrums when things don’t go his way, and according to sources close to him, this is what infuriates the monarch the most.
A former palace employee confessed, “Anything he perceives as incompetence particularly brings it out. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly“, claiming that for the king mistakes are not allowed; you have to do your job perfectly or it won’t be enough.
For his part, Paul Burrell, former butler to Princess Diana, gave in his book ‘A Royal Duty’ an example of the demands of King Charles III: “When it comes to bathing, the bath plug has to be in a certain position, the water temperature has to be just tepid, and only half full. If anyone gets anything wrong, everybody is scolded“.
In 2022, the monarch had a tantrum over a faulty pen and ended up saying, “I can’t bear this bloody thing!” He has had worse attitudes, and Christopher Andersen made it known when he revealed, “Charles became so enraged at a stuck window that he threw a chair through it, and then smashed another window when he felt he still wasn’t getting enough fresh air“.
This makes it clear that the king’s instructions are clear, and unless you want to see his bad temper, it is best not to make a mistake. So it can be concluded that the incompetence of the employees is what angers King Charles III the most, who goes over the limits when he is in a bad mood.
