Camila Cabello recently dropped her fourth studio album “C,XOXO,” with several collaborators. Canadian rapper Drake also makes an appearance on the album with the songs “Hot Uptown” and “Uuugly,” making this a controversial decision for Cabello after Drake of having underage relationships.
These claims were brought to light by rapper Kendrick Lamar, with whom Drake has been having a feud for a long time. The California-born rapper has claimed in diss tracks “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us” that Drake has had underage relationships and that he’s fathering a secret child. Drake has responded to these claims in songs “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6,” where he denies the allegations.
While the press and media, including Pitchfork, The Ringer, and Rolling Stone have crowned Kendrick Lamar as the winner of the rap feud, Camila Cabello seems to think otherwise. In a recent interview with The Times, the “Señorita” singer said that it was “frustrating” to see people talking about Drake in a negative light:
“He is such a delight. It’s so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a way that is negative. You’re like, ‘Dang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something.”
Meanwhile, Camila Cabello continues promoting her latest studio album, and especially her song with Drake. The Canadian rapper even took to Instagram to congratulate the former Fifth Harmony member and thanked her for their recent collaboration, saying “Thanks for the link up @camila_cabello congrats.”
