The ARMYs’ wish will come true: the reality show “BTS In The SOOP” will return in a 2nd season! The show accompanies the K-Pop group in an experience beyond work, like a trip among friends in a more secluded and peaceful place.
The idea of “BTS In The SOOP” is to provide boys with a moment of rest amidst a busy schedule of professional commitments. Season 1 aired in August 2020 and featured RM, Jin, Suga, J-HOPE, Jimin, V and Jungkook relaxing like “normal adults”.
The format is very well-received among fans, who are in fact curious to find out even more about their off-stage personality. That’s because on “BTS In The SOOP” the boys try their best to ignore the cameras.
Confirmation of the 2nd season came out on the reality show’s official Twitter profile this Wednesday, August 1st. It will be available from October on Weverse, a platform that allows interaction between K-Pop artist and fans.

In another releated news with K-Pop, in July of this year, a Russian printer caused controversy by refusing to print BTS images, claiming that the group makes children “become perverted”. Now, on Tuesday, August 31st, it was reported that the Turkish government is investigating the influence of K-Pop.
According to the website Koreaboo, the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services has started research into the musical genre and the influence of the effects on the younger generation after a recent controversy with three young people who were caught “running away from their homes to go to the South Korea“.
For those who don’t know, Turkey has one of the largest communities of k-poppers in the world and is among the 20 countries that most consume content related to the music genre.
