King Charles III has become the trending topic in the United Kingdom along with Kate Middleton because of their cancer diagnosis. Although the King is slowly recovering, there are several omens about the premature death of the King, these omens are even present in the King’s latest portrait.
At first sight, people loved King Charles III’s new portrait because it was the first official portrait to be completed since His Majesty’s Coronation. The painting was commissioned by the Draper’s Company and painted by Jonathan Yeo, who allegedly hid some secrets in this monumental portrait.
One of the biggest features in this portrait was a butterfly lying on the King’s shoulder. This butterfly brought controversy among the Netizens, as one assures its meaning is attached to the renovation and transformation, some others associate it with death and sin in the Greek culture.
However, this butterfly also could hint at all of the challenges King Charles III and Queen Camilla Parker overcame during the first stages of their relationship. It could hint at all of the mishaps along the way including their forbidden love while the King was with the late Princess Diana. Jonathan Yeo hasn’t explained why he added the butterfly and what his intentions were with this adorn.
