There’s no doubt, Prince William has been preparing himself to ascend to the throne during his whole life. Every duty accomplished and challenge overcome has prepared him to give the best of himself to the British people. He is slightly following King Charles III’s plans to modernize the British monarchy.
It was reported in an exclusive note from US Weekly, that King Charles III and Prince William planned to “guide each other” on their paths. This heartwarming interaction is reflected during the thoughtest moments of the royal family after William has become the new “face” of the British monarchy.
The Prince of Wales has given several insights into his future as the monarch of the United Kingdom, and the British people should be proud of his unwavering work to show the best of the British monarchy. During an interview with BBC News, William reflected on the importance of the duties inside the Royal Family.
“I think royal duty is extremely important. I take my responsibilities very seriously, but it’s about finding your way at the right time and if you’re not careful, the duty can sort of weigh you down an awful lot at a very early age, and I think you’ve got to develop into the duty role.”
On top of that, Prince William strongly believes the royal family has to modernize to stay relevant. He believes this is a major challenge for him once he becomes the King.
“How do I make the royal family relevant in the next 20 years’ time? You know, it could be 40 years. It could be 60 years. I have no idea when that’s going to be.”
Prince William is the next in the line of succession once King Charles III either abdicates or passes away. The Prince is well aware of the hard work previous working royals have pathed the way of the British Monarchy, and he is reaffirming his dedication to improving the royal family.
