While on a tour of St. Michael’s Church of England High School facilities to see their mental health program, Prince William was invited to participate in the school’s podcast, where he revealed his daughter Princess Charlotte‘s current favorite joke.
He said, “I am here with the gang here talking about male mental health, and I’ve been asked to produce a dad joke. I was trying to channel Jack Whitehall because most of his jokes are pretty dad-like“, and then added, “I think what I’ll do is say a joke that is Charlotte’s favorite joke at the moment, that she keeps telling me“.
The prince asked the students to interact so that his dynamic could work, and then began by saying:
“Knock, knock“, William said.
“Who’s there?“, said the students present.
“Interrupting cow“, continued the prince.
“Interrupting cow, who?“, asked the young boys, holding back laughter.
“Moo!“, said the future monarch while interruptingthem, causing much laughter in the group.

Laughing, the Prince of Wales confessed, “That’s the greatest one I can think of that’s clean and broadcastable“. Later, the 12-year-old student Freddie Hadley, who invited him in first place, praised his joke, saying, “It’s good, it’s good!“.
