Lady Gabriella Windsor has moved back to Kensington Palace after a tragic turn of events. The writer and singer is seeking the royal family’s support after losing her husband Thomas Kingston. She left her previous Notting Hill home (which she shared with her late husband), opting for her parents’ company, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent in Kensington Palace.
“They wanted Ella to be with them, and she didn’t want to be alone in the home she shared with Tom,” a friend of Gabriella told media outlets.
On Friday evening HRH’s Prince & Princess Michael of Kent spotted leaving Oswald’s private members' club in central London.
It’s the first time they’ve been seen since the funeral of their son-in-law Thomas Kingston – whose widow Lady Gabriella Windsor is their daughter. pic.twitter.com/2KLMdzEPiX

This tragedy first took place when Thomas Kingston was found dead on February 25 at the age of 45 due to a “traumatic wound to the head.“ The gun was found at the scene, but no further details about a possible suicide were confirmed.
“She’s felling a little big stronger”, a friend of Lady Ella tells me. ❤️
I’m not sure if I may wish her a happy birthday, but my wish is that she stays getting stronger and continues to “recover” from this horrible tragedy. pic.twitter.com/AXMfxjvh94

Following the devastating loss, the royal family honored Thomas with a private funeral in March at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace, which Prince William attended. As Gabriella turned 43 this year, she seems to be looking for comfort and support from the royal family.
