On May 8th, the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, and for this occasion, Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly ‘suggested’ Harry and Meghan take their children to visit to make up, according to a royal expert.
Tom Quinn told The Mirror, “William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make peace“. However, he then added, “The suggestion has gone nowhere so far“, which would mean that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not yet given an answer.
No doubt this would be a good opportunity for everyone to spend some time together and try to heal the deep wounds of the past, as it was Prince Harry who accused Kate Middleton and other royals of being racist and manipulative, among other revelations of the royal family.
Still, Harry has taken the first step towards reconciliation because, upon learning of the medical diagnosis of his sister-in-law and his father, King Charles III, he issued a statement saying, “We wish health and healing for Kate and her family, and hope they can do so in private and in peace“, a gesture of empathy from the Sussexes.
