Beyoncé took the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards by storm yesterday, Monday, April 1, by receiving the Innovator Award! The “Break My Soul” crooner graced the stage, was given her trophy from the legendary Stevie Wonder, and gave a heartfelt speech.
As Bey was accepting her award, she shared her thoughts and personal journey. She also talked about what innovation meant to her, which is perfect considering every album she makes adds up to her impressive discography. In a leather jumpsuit that screamed country glamour and a cool cowboy hat, the music icon said:
“Innovation starts with a dream, and the road to execute that dream can be very bumpy. Being an innovator is doing what everyone believes is impossible.”
And, oh, let’s not forget the central part! Beyoncé’s most recent album, “Cowboy Carter,” is the living proof of why she was worthy of this honor at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. For the first time, Queen Bey fully delved into the country genre in one of her albums, and this was the right move for sure. Why? Well, the charts seem to be loving “TEXAS HOLD’EM,” the main single from her record.
Congrats to Beyoncé and Beyhive for getting this award!
