On March 29, the American artist’s eighth full album was released worldwide. Composed of 27 songs, the album was able to become the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024. Spotify announced this astonishing record before 24 hours were over, surpassing Ariana Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine.’
This is the first time that a country album has held the title this year. This is one of many records she has broken during the last couple of hours. On top of that, Amazon Music announced she also held the title for the most first-day streams on the platform and the most first-day streams for a country album in the history of the platform.
The undeniable success comes from her smash song, “Texas Hold’ Em,” which pushed the album to excellence. The single was streamed over 200 million times on Spotify before ‘Cowboy Carter’ was released. Beyoncé’s new album earned 76.1 million first-day streams on the global Spotify Chart.
