King Charles III postponed almost every public-facing meeting after Buckingham Palace unveiled his cancer diagnosis. The king has been actively working behind the scenes, but he hasn’t felt confident enough to resume his royal duties until now.

It was reported the monarch of the United Kingdom wants to attend the “Easter Lite” Sunday Service on March 24 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor with Queen Camilla Parker, if his health allows it. This royal turnout will therefore be considerably smaller than usual to minimize contact with larger crowds.

A source close to Buckingham Palace announced the king’s desire to attend the Easter Lite Sunday Service despite the circumstances. The news inspired royal followers who didn’t hesitate to praise Charles’ work ethic and strength to carry the British monarchy during these difficult times.

“The King and Queen are hoping to attend some form of Easter service in Windsor. However, it will not be the large family gathering that we might expect to see in different circumstances.”

It was also reported the Sunday Service is not going to be a family reunion after Kensington Palace confirmed the Wales family, composed of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte are not going to attend. This time the spotlight is on King Charles III’s shoulders.
