King Charles III has been the talk of the town since his cancer diagnosis unrelated to his elongated prostate. The monarch of the United Kingdom has received all kinds of emotional support from the royal family and the royal followers across the globe, although, he wanted to receive spiritual advice from a Greek Orthodox monk.
Elder Ephraim, the Mount Athos-based abbot of the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi, unveiled King Charles III reached him after he found out he had an unspecified cancer. The two have known each other for almost 25 years after the tragic death of Princess Diana in 1997, so it is no surprise he wanted to seek clarity with his friend.
Ephraim had a convo with the Sun to reveal why King Charles III asked him for advice, but he didn’t decide to reveal any further information and kept it simple. It was also reported Charles has visited the monastic community of Mount Athos at least eight times since they started their friendship.
“Charles has a spiritual sophistication, a spiritual life. Yes, he has been in contact since the diagnosis and I believe he’ll overcome it.”
There’s no doubt that King Charles III wanted to deal with his cancer diagnosis in the best way possible. He wanted to take care of his mental health, but also work on his spiritual being. The monarch is proving to everybody, positivity is the key to carrying on any situation.
