The proposal of horror movies that we are currently experiencing is one of the most interesting things that have been happening in the film industry, because although the horror genre has not been the most accepted if it is the one that makes the most money, and one of the films that has caused more controversy, has as its protagonist a killer clown named Art the Clown. It is the film Terrifier that came for more than two and a half hours of Gore to show a second tape of a very emblematic character that will soon become one of the horror classics.
The film was very successful as it managed to raise many millions of dollars despite its low budget, making it have a significant international commercial run, and due to that great success, the news was quickly shared that there would be a third part of the film.
David Howard Thornton is playing Art the Clown again, Lauren LaVera is returning as the heroine from Terrifier 2, and Elliot Fullam is back as Jonathan, Sienna’s brother. Samantha Scaffidi is coming back as Victoria from 1 and 2. In Terrifier 3, Chris Jericho, who made a brief appearance in the 2nd, returns. Writer-director Damien Leone posted a set photo from Terrifier 3 on his own Instagram account, with an image that shows a monitor on set bearing the image of Thornton in costume as Art the Clown, with a caption that reads “Are you ready for more??” and the hashtag “#hesback.”
If you have no idea what Terrifier 2 is about, here is the synopsis by Film Affinity:
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County, where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.
