Stray Kids have sparked joy with their latest album, “樂-STAR,” which have paid off the boys’ efforts. The boy band has garnered a great audience outside of South Korea, and it shows after they won the “Group / Duo of the Year” category at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, celebrated in the United States.
On February 18, the 2024 People’s Choice Awards were hosted in the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The tension started to rise after the host of the award started to read the nominees for “Group / Duo of the Year” including Dan + Shay, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Jonas Brothers, Old Dominion, Paramore, Stray Kids, and Tomorrow x Together.
Ultimately, Stray Kids took the award home and took social media to share a grateful and emotional message to their fans, better known as STAY. The boys were completely honest about their thoughts on winning such an important award in the United States.
“We’re truly honored to win Group / Duo of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards 2024! STAY, thank you for this precious award.”
The STAY flooded social media sharing their joy to the world. The fans were more than thrilled because they solely reached this important award, joining BTS and BLACKPINK. This feat proves the boys are dabbling into the American market with ease thanks to their latest album release.
