More than once we have heard that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas and that for many, this city is the perfect place to get away from it all and have a new adventure. An adventure that Usher is undoubtedly living.
When it was announced that Usher would be the star of the Super Bowl halftime show many people did not seem to be happy, but with more than 15 minutes of performance, the superstar gave a show that will be hard to forget for the celebrity, so on the eve of continuing to celebrate, the singer has decided that getting married was the best option, and what better than after his big party after performing.
Page Six revealed that Usher wed his longtime partner Jennifer Goicoechea over the weekend in a ceremony held in Las Vegas. It’s unclear, though, if the ceremony took place prior to or following the singer’s Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance.
Days prior to his main event, Usher and Goicoechea were able to secure a marriage license, as Page Six also verified shortly before the big game. The music executive and Usher started dating in 2019. It was discovered within a year that the couple was having their first child together, and in September 2020, their daughter Sovereign was born. Goicoechea revealed her baby bulge on the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet months before giving birth to their son, Sire, in November 2021.
We are very happy for the beautiful couple and wish them a life full of love and happiness. Usher got married in Las Vegas and we can’t be more than happy. What do you think about it? Did you like the Super Bowl 2024 halftime show performance by American singer Usher?
