Kpop couldn’t be spelled without BLACKPINK in it. The girls’ vision and artistry have become a blueprint for the scene for numerous rookie idols who are starting their careers. There’s no doubt that the girl group hasn’t only excelled in South Korea but worldwide, particularly in the United Kingdom.
Despite the multiple concerns from BLACKPINK’s fans, better known as BLINKS, the group remained together after they renewed their contract. This time, BLACKPINK has made history once again in the United Kingdom with their second album, “BORN PINK.”
On February 9, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that “BORN PINK” received the official silver BRIT certification for surpassing 60,000 units sold in the country. This becomes their second album to be certified silver, as “THE ALBUM” was certified in 2020.
BLACKPINK has showcased all their talents and artistry in their songs and performances, and the efforts finally paid off. There’s no further information regarding the group’s comeback, but it surely is going to become their third silver certification in the United Kingdom.
