Prince Harry and King Charles III’s relationship went downhill after the prince’s several attacks against the royal family in his memoir, “Spare” and Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan” released in 2022. However, no matter how shattered their relationship is, amid concerns about the king’s cancer diagnosis, the family is reunited.
The last time Prince Harry visited the United Kingdom was last year in the trial against the Mail on Sunday because of allegedly defamation against his persona. Since then, the royal family and the Duke of Sussex haven’t spoken to each other personally, until now. In less than 24 hours after Buckingham Palace’s statement regarding King Charles III’s health status, Prince Harry was heading to the United Kingdom.
Prince Harry arrived in London Tuesday afternoon from his home in Montecito, California. The prince’s homecoming caused a furor and sparked controversy because he wasn’t accompanied by Meghan Markle during the difficult moments the royal family was passing through. The Duke of Sussex was photographed being driven into the gates of Clarence House around 2.45 pm.
The 11-hour flight from Los Angeles to London that Prince Harry made to reunite with King Charles III increased the panic among the British people. Despite their reunion not lasting more than 45 minutes, surely these are the first steps toward the ultimate reconciliation between the royal family and Prince Harry, despite the conditions not being the best.
