In recent hours, it was confirmed that BLACKPINK‘s member Lisa inspires an upcoming French novel in process with her successful music career in the K-Pop industry until becoming a worldwide artist, as it will be based on her story.

The Thai idol has become an important icon of the Asian music industry since the girl group’s debut in 2016. In recent months, after the end of the BLACKPINK World Tour ‘BORN PINK‘, the members have focused on individual projects traveling to different countries.

For her part, Lisa has spent much time in France, where the Gala Des Pièces Jaunes 2024 was held, and she gave an acclaimed solo performance. But there is a project that no one expected: the production of a novel inspired in the idol’s career.

It is a French novel that has been in the works for three years by the writer Julien Dufresne-Lamy, who confirmed the project after the reports came out with a new post on X social networks: “Very happy to have worked on this project for three years. Here’s hoping it delights blinks and others!” shared the author.

The story will tell a behind-the-scenes story about K-Pop based on Lisa’s experience in the industry. The French publishing house behind the release of the novel will be JC Lattès, which has worked with renown writers such as Dan Brown, Jean d’Ormesson, and Amin Maalouf, among others.
