The long-awaited movie ‘Argylle‘ is the new film starring Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa that is being spit on by expert critics just hours before its premiere with hard words over its story, comparing it with other productions by the same director.
Although this movie premiered on February 2nd of the current year and had a great cast full of renown and talented stars such as Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, Bryan Cranston, and others, it did not achieve the reviews it expected.
Before its premiere, the movie received the lowest puntuation for a product of the director Matthew Vaughn on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, with 37% cataloging the movie as “rotten”.
“One of the most chaotically stupid action movies to torture audiences in ages“, said Globe and Mail critic Barry Hertz.
“Very, very bad movie“, commented the Rolling Stone reviewer David Fear.
“An overlong and uninspired outing that fails to take full advantage of its cast, and even with moments of delightful action, it’s a toothless imitator of Vaughn’s more entertaining spy stories“, shared ComicBook.com critic Patrick Cavanaugh.
“Vaughn’s juvenile sense of humor is a poor match for the rom-com energy of [Jason] Fuchs’ script, and the director only seems further declawed by the decision to make this movie PG-13“, said IndieWire’s David Ehrlich.
