According to TMZ, the estate of late Columbian drug queenpin Griselda Blanco is suing Sofia Vergara and Netflix over Vergara’s new Netflix series, “Griselda.”
The children of Blanco, headed by her son Michael, are attempting to have a judge to issue an injunction that would stop the six-part series from airing on the streaming service starting on January 25. The children contend that the inclusion of their own pictures and likenesses in the show without their consent violates their rights, and Michael Blanco is accusing Netflix of essentially stealing their family tale and incorporating it into the plot of their program.
