When you are a powerful public figure as Taylor Swift is, it is normal that there are many rumors around you, be it family rumors, friends rumors, couple rumors or even professional rumors to such a degree that one has already arrived that indicates that she would be the anonymous writer of one of the novels that will be taken to the movies this year and that will star Henry Cavill, and where we will also see the beautiful Dua Lipa.
Taylor Swift would be the secret author of the novel Argylle
No one doubts that Taylor Swift is one of the most talented songwriters of this era, so a fan did not hesitate to make a theory that Taylor Swift is the secret writer of the novel Argylle, to the extent that the rumor has become so big that even Matthew Vaughn has had to come out to shut up all these rumors.
The novel Argylle was published on January 9. The author goes by the name Elly Conway, but since the movie is almost about to be released, people are curious to know if the real author is known or not.
In the midst of a deadly mystery, the story follows a female author spy and her pet cat Scottish Fold. The protagonist carries a backpack with an argyle design to transport her cat. It should be noted that Taylor owns two Scottish Folds, Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey, and has been seen carrying a similar cat backpack.
Matthew Vaughn had this to say about the rumors:
“I’m not a big fan of the Internet, and in fact it was my daughter who came to me – this is the power of celebrity and the Internet – and said, ‘You never told me Taylor wrote the book!” he told Rolling Stone.
“And I looked at her and said, ‘What are you talking about Taylor Swift wrote the book? She didn’t write the book!’
“And I was laughing because I was like, ‘That’s not true! She didn’t write the book.’ But my daughter was convinced of it.”
Vaughn insisted that Conway’s novel “is a real book … and it’s a really good book.”
“And there is an Elly Conway who wrote the book, but it’s not Taylor Swift,” he added.
What do you think about it, and do you think Taylor would make a good novelist?
