Queen Letizia, Jaime del Burgo, and King Felipe VI have been some of the most talked about celebrities in the last couple of weeks in Europe. Since the alleged affair Queen Letizia had with Jaime del Burgo, the controversy has increased to unprecedented levels, and even Juan Carlos I might be involved.
The Spanish reporter, Pilar Eyre has addressed the rising conflict between the Spanish crown in TV3’s show, “Tot es moum,” where she suggested the high possibility of a divorce. Pilar stated the profound crisis in Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI’s marriage was predicted by Juan Carlos I who already has a tentative date for their divorce.
“The royal’s marriage is going through a tremendous and absolute crisis, Felipe should be proud of how Letizia managed the controversy, but he is trying not to get involved, and keep his distance from it.”
Pilar also reported that Juan Carlos I’s tentative date for the royals’ divorce is set to happen in April 2025. She also suggested that Juan Carlos I perfectly knows they are not living together anymore as a happy marriage, and they are just waiting for Infanta Sofía to turn into an adult.
Despite Juan Carlos I not being explicitly involved in Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI’s controversy, the Spanish media outlets strongly believe he supports the idea of a divorce, and even he has been rushing the queen’s demise.
