The recent publication of the monthly Brand Reputation list surprised K-Pop fans around the world by being the first time BTS fell in the Boy Group Ranking after more than 5 years of positioning themselves in first place on the chart.

After BTS members started enlisting in the military service in December 2022, many of their fans knew that their numbers would be going down, as they would not have new musical material or group activities to stay active with the public, and their time had arrived.

In the new Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking for January 2024, SEVENTEEN demonstrated their great influence and popularity in the last month by taking first spot on the list. Followed by the renowed NCT group, which led BTS to third place.

The next positions in the Top 15 of the rank are taken by RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, EXO, SHINee, ASTRO, ATEEZ, Super Junior, TVXQ, BTOB, and BOYNEXTDOOR, respectively.

Although the reign of BTS on the important list has ended, it is expected the group will go up again soon as their musical group comeback is set for 2025.
