When Queen Camilla interviewed a mystery writer about his inspiration for her charity podcast for book lovers, she was shocked by the scope of a multi-million dollar online scam. When Camilla visited the set of Grace, the TV adaptation of writer Peter James’ books, in 2021, she spoke with James about his popular Roy Grace series. In the first episode of The Queen’s Reading Room Podcast, she asked the author where he got ideas for new stories, and his answer stumped her.
