Super Junior’s Kyuhyun’s talent has always been recognized as one of his biggest features in the Kpop scene. However, numerous aspects of his life haven’t been always on the bright side. Recently, the idol talked openly about his living situation in the SM dormitories for almost 19 years.
On January 5, Kyuhyun was a special guest on the YouTube talk show “Jo Hyun Ah’s Thursday Night,” where he revealed numerous secrets, such as moving from SM to Antenna. The host brought up the topic of his transference from the company and stated she heard he and Eunhyuk were the only members left in the dormitory.
The idol explained he lived in the SM dormitory for almost 19 years, and he felt sad when he left the room because someone might break his record one day. He explained he lived in the SM dormitory for the longest time among all the idols worldwide. In addition, he also stated that it is highly unlikely someone would break it, and he should be put in the Guinness World Records.
Kyuhyun also explained he spread out blankets beside other members’ beds and had his stuff in carries. Because he joined Super Junior late, there was no room for him in the dormitory, so he usually slept in the living room or moved from room to room every night. The idol ultimately confessed this might be the reason why he lived for so long there because it was a painful situation to find his own space.
