So far, a select group of Korean female acts have made history at this prestigious event, proving K-pop’s unstoppable global impact. From legendary groups to a powerful soloist, here are the four Korean artists who have earned recognition at Billboard:

1. TWICE – 2023 Breakthrough Award

TWICE, one of the biggest girl groups in the world, was honored with the Breakthrough Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event. Known for their infectious hits and global presence, TWICE’s recognition marked a major milestone for K-pop girl groups.

2. NJZ (Formerly NewJeans) – 2024 Group of the Year
