On February 19, HYBE stunned the music world by teaming up with Grammy-winning producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder to launch a fresh global boy group. Blending K-pop’s signature training with Tedder’s pop expertise, this project aims to discover new talent through a worldwide audition. The chosen members will then receive training in Los Angeles, marking HYBE’s second Western and K-pop adjacent group.

Ryan Tedder, known for writing hits for artists like Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Adele, was also behind girl group KATSEYE’s “Debut,” &TEAM’s “Dropkick,” and TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s “Back for More” featuring Anitta. Now, working with HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk and HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, this team hopes to put together the ultimate boy group.
Bang Si Hyuk believes HYBE’s track record, showcased by KATSEYE’s successful debut, proves the K-pop model still works in the United States. As of now, aspiring singers aged 13 to 23 from any nationality can audition by submitting photos, performance clips, and a personal introduction.
