BTS’ Jungkook is making history even while serving in the military! On April 25, 2025, his debut solo album “Golden” smashed Spotify records, becoming the most-streamed album by an Asian male artist this year with a jaw-dropping 517 million streams. Nearly two years after its release in November 2023, people are still tapping replay on these bops! With bangers like Seven, Standing Next to You, and 3D, Jungkook’s mix of pop-R&B-EDM proved he’s a solo king.

“Golden” wasn’t just a collection of catchy tracks, though—it was a career-defining flex. Featuring collabs with Latto, Jack Harlow, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake, Jungkook went global, showing off his full star power. Seven even debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, snatching American wigs. The album then topped the charts in South Korea and Japan, and it was a top 2 hit in the UK and the US.

Adding to the hype train, Jungkook is expected to be discharged on June 11, 2025, alongside Jimin. And guess what? BTS as a whole is gearing up for a comeback soon after. So, while Golden reigns supreme now, this is just the continuation of Jungkook’s unstoppable solo era!
