JUST B’s Bain came out as gay during the group’s Los Angeles concert on April 23, making it one of the most powerful LGBTQ+ moments in K-pop this year. With a rainbow flag in hand and a Lady Gaga track to sing, the K-pop idol spoke his truth with pride.

Performing “Born This Way” by Gaga—a song that’s basically the LGBTQ+ anthem—Bain revealed “I’m f*cking proud to be a part of the LGBTQ community,” he said, and the crowd exploded. His declaration lit up the venue and the Internet, with fans cheering and sending a storm of love and support.

After the show, Bain posted a video of the moment on Instagram with a caption calling himself “a gay person” and gave a big shoutout to Lady Gaga, saying she showed him that “being different is beautiful.” He ended with a message for others still figuring things out: “You are seen, you are loved, and you were born this way.” You were born this way, baby!
