BLACKPINK’s Rosé has had such an amazing run with her smash song, “APT,” in the United States. Despite the song not managing to top the chart, it has maintained strong inside of the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, the official music chart of the country.
On April 22 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT” had successfully remained on the Hot 100 for a 26th consecutive week at No. 13. This achievement is a major moment for the idol as she has broken a record on the Billboard Hot 100 when it comes to Kpop music.
“APT” has now overtaken FIFTY FIFTY’s 2023 hit “Cupid” to become the longest-charting song by a female Kpop artist on the Hot 100, breaking the record of 25 weeks set by “Cupid” two years ago.
In addition, BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s song has become the fourth song by a Kpop act to chart for 26 weeks on the Hot 100, following PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” BTS’s “Dynamite,” and BTS’s Jimin’s “Who.” Congratulations!
