NCT’s Mark’s solo career has had such a major success in South Korea. From the K-Netizens to the music critics, the idol has been warmly received in the Kpop scene, and it shows with his latest accolade in South Korean music program circuits, just like Music Bank.
On April 18, a new episode of Music Bank was broadcast, with the presence of tons of talents, including NCT’s Mark, TIOT, AMPERS&ONE, xikers, NCT Wish, Kwon Eun Bi, ODD YOUTH, ifeye, and cosmosy, among other amazing artists.
At the end of the night, the audience was euphoric, speculating who could potentially win the award of the week. Ultimately, NCT Mark took the award home with “1999” and gave such a beautiful and heartwarming speech on the stage:
“I’m incredibly happy and thankful to the fans and my family for loving this album, ‘1999’. This win means so much to me.”
