Kim Garam has been out of the spotlight since her dramatic LE SSERAFIM removal in July 2022, following school bullying allegations. But guess what? She’s finally been spotted—and no, it’s not an idol comeback. On March 6, Konkuk University’s official YouTube channel dropped a video featuring freshmen from the Department of Media and Acting, and Kim Garam’s name was spotted in the final credits as part of the directing team.

Though she stayed low-key and covered her face in the group pic, fans still connected the dots. She was wearing a white jacket and standing far left in the photo, very much giving, trying to be quiet after her LE SSERAFIM controversy. Reports say she entered Konkuk in 2024, two years after her K-pop career ended. Before this, she graduated from SOPA, the School of Performing Arts Seoul.

For those unversed, Kim debuted with LE SSERAFIM in May 2022 but went on hiatus in the same month. After a messy few weeks of online controversy and internal investigations, her contract was officially terminated in July due to the bullying accusations. Now it looks like she’s building a new chapter—behind the camera, not in front.
